Since 1775, Marines have given of themselves to this Nation, to right the wrongs, where freedom is at stake. This, 249th celebration of our Corps' birthday, Marines are are asked to remember our legacy, and the price paid in blood on battlefields around the globe. We Marines will always dedicate ourselves to that legacy, and strive to "keep out honor clean.".
Let us not forget to honor our fallen comrades, the favorable memories we shared, and those bonds that hold us all together forever. For those who can not attend this event, reach out to your fellow Marines, let them know you're still got their six, and wish them a
"Happy Birthday".
Here's to you, US Marines.
May your swagger never falter,
May your rifle never jam, or
your canteen run dry.
The best Uniform ever to be worn,
is that of the US Marines, bar none!
